G&H’s recent experience with Kier Eastern within the education sector has certainly assisted with the success. The works involve the design, supply and installation of a new Gas fired heat pump unit, underfloor heating, domestic water services, and ventilation throughout two areas new build and the refurbishment of existing areas of the school. A large element of the scheme is the running of temporary supplies through the existing school to maintain services thus causing little disruption to the school.

PGR Construction have appointed Gowing and Hunt to supply, install & commission the mechanical and electrical installations to the ex Mobeck’s yard on the Buckminster Estate. The works comprise of the installation of new central biomass boiler plant, district pre insulated heating pipework to feed existing barns being converted into business unit. Mains cold water has been run around the site to feed point of use water heaters within each unit. New power, internal & external lighting, fire alarms and data installations are also being provided around the site. Whilst on site, further works involving the construction of a new village institute on the site has been negotiated with us. New mechanical and electrical services to the village institute have been designed by G&H connected to the district services being installed by ourselves on site.
