This two storey office building was constructed using a system of hollow core concrete slabs. Air, from an air handling unit passes through the slabs into the various office spaces. The slabs retain or lose heat as appropriate to the conditions within the building and externally.
Room and floor temperature sensors are connected to a control panel incorporating a Building Management System which automatically adjusts the temperature of the air flowing through the slabs.
The system operates overnight to either add warm air to the slabs or dissipate heat, to ensure correct temperatures within the building the following day.
All other services were also installed.
