The New Visitor Centre for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Welney was a
Design and Build Project for Kier Eastern.
The project was designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Ground source heat pumps were used
to provide the heat source for the under floor heating, natural ventilation
through common areas was incorporated into the sky lights and a rain water
harvesting system was installed to feed the various toilet areas.
