Rainbow Stores - Wisbech
Designed by the Paul Robinson Partnership, Anglia Regional Co-operative Society's store at Wisbech was constructed by Kier Eastern, with services design by Engineering Services Partnership.
Gowing & Hunt Limited and their team of specialist subcontractors have installed all service elements. Ventilation systems have been installed to the main store area, the back of house area and the public toilets. Apart from the public toilets, heat exchangers reclaim heat from extracted air and produce tempered air to the supply.
Hot water is generated by a twin coil cylinder which takes waste heat from an external unit, with back up as necessary from an adjacent gas fired boiler. Air conditioning systems have been installed to serve the main store area, offices and staff room.
